L.David Eveningthunder-Shoshone Tribe Aboriginal Art by:L.David Eveningthunder an accomplished artist from the Shoshone-Bannock Reservation in Fort Hall, Idaho. He now resides in Alabama, and is active in the Powwow Circuit.He is known for his portrayals of dancers from all tribes.He believes he is paying tribute to the contemporary indian dancers who are keeping thetraditions of our ancestors alive.He believes that the modern day powwow brings important socialinterchange between the native people and white people.Exchanging culture and camaraderie between different tribeshelps to form a stronger bond and foundation for the newer generations, the children.David Eveningthunder attended the Sam Houston State University,in Huntsville Texas attaining his Bachelor of Arts.His mediums are: mixed media, pen and ink, air brush, chalk pastels, and scratch art.
